Less buying. More sharing.
Keep track of things you lend
A quick favor is easy to remember today and easy to forget a month from now. A simple lending record gives both people a shared understanding.
Record the agreement before the item leaves
Use a specific item name and confirm who is borrowing it. Record the agreed dates and include any accessories that should return with it.
For a kit, make a short checklist: the main item, its case, chargers, cables, and other parts. Review it together at pickup so the record reflects what actually changed hands.
Keep changes in one place
If the borrower needs more time, agree on the new date before treating the loan as extended. Keep the arrangement current so another person does not plan around an item that is still away.
A record supports a friendly conversation; it does not replace one. Ask clearly and politely when an item is needed back.
Close the loop on return
Check the item and accessories together, note any issues, and complete the return. An accurate record helps distinguish an item that is available from one still on loan.
Could I Borrow brings personal inventory and circle-based sharing together so you can organize what you own and choose who sees it.
